Using Picture flash cards in english class

Picture flash cards are pictures mounted or drawn on cards approximately 15 cm by 20 cm. They are used by the teacher in orla work for cueing responses to questions or in more open communicative work for stimulating conversation , story- telling etc.

Usually it is advisable to show several pictures to be sure that the students know what you are referring to. For example teaching presebt continuous. She is singing a song,he is playing soccer etc.
